1. Not A very flattering picture for a presidential canidate...
It gives him a silly "Don Quijote de la Mancha" aura. Not good.

16. Yes I did read the article and

it was an excellent article. But I stand by my point. I was more concerned about the pictures of Dennis. Two points, since he's an independent thinker, they will try to destroy his credibility. Case in point with the last debate, where they made an effort to let everyone know that Dennis saw a UFO. A veiled attempt to show that he's crazy.

As for the pictures,,, pictures can ruin campaigns. Remember Michael Ducacus with his goofy tank helmet on? John Kerry sailboarding? Or even other stuff, like of John Dean and the "YEEEAHHHHHH, YEAAHHH". Pretty well ruined his campaign. Ross Perot, same thing.

Unfortunately, this is AMerica where we don't vote on issues. We vote on image. I wish that was not the case.

Peace, and thanks for the article. Dennis is an awesome guy, I'd vote for him ANY day.

It was a great read. However, now I'm DYIN' to see that "bed-in" cartoon that the author was talking about.

Thanks again for posting this!

12. This Man Should Be Our President
Great article! I have been a believer in Dennis Kucinich from day one. When people state that he is not presidential material, you have to wonder what is their apropos image. And who is or was their example.
We now have a psychopath, drug user, drunk. Before that we had a accused sex-addict, before that, the father of a psychopath and a drunk. Carter had great intentions until his agenda was undermined by the Beltway Demons. Tricky Dick, Ford, Raygoon, Johnson? Where is the fine example of a leader of the free-world.
I will tell you who that example is, his name is Dennis Kucinich

13. Dennis and Goliath
Kucinich's underdog status needs to capture the imagination of magazines and columnists. Dennis embodies American authenticity.

17. As to "electabilty"
Number A, DK has been re-elected by a really tough constituency a fair few times, and

Letter 2, we heard that shit about Hagen a few years back. In the 2004 Ohio Guv race, the State Democratic party decided he was unelectable and cut him off (never mind that he won the primary). The fat cat party bosses gave him hind tit. Truly pathetic. And so, guaranteed that Bob Taft (our only confessed criminal ever to occupy the office) waltzed to victory, because of this pre-election "unelectable" attitude.

Why do we buy this shit? Hagen could have mopped the floor with Taft's dorky-assed hairdo, but the powers that be decreed Hagen "unelectable" and then proceeded to make it so.

Let's see what the primaries produce, rather than try to make them irrelevant.

Yes his open minded philosophies are similar to mine. I believe an open minded leader will be more willing to relate to all his constituents, not just a chosen few. Fundamentalism must be marginalized in order for this world to function, they are dividing up the world.
