We can connect the price of gasoline and heating oil with Iraq

Even before the recent rate decrease some worried that such an action would result in an increase in the price of oil.

The reality is that the huge deficit, caused by the war in Iraq, makes us dependent on the "generosity of strangers." We depend on foreign investors to purchase our IOUs, to invest in our economy. But if interest rate is low, we do not offer much of a return on their investments so they raise the price of whatever they are selling us to make it worth it to them.

Yes, capitalism at work, but why should foreign countries try to save our economy from incompetent leaders?

and there is insider trading at its best......all the market needs is some lame excuse to send prices soaring..If the oil companies run out of excuses, stand by * will give them another...all * has to do is stir up some tensions around the world or threaten Iran or something and up they go..What people have forgotten is that ever since Cheney and the oil companies drafted the so called energy bill we have seen nothing but high prices...Certainly demand has affected the price somewhat but *'s right wing investors are earning millions and they are lovin' this...
We are being gouged and there's not a damn thing we can do about it....
