3. Usually people post a source to add credibility to their data
Edited on Thu Nov-01-07 06:29 PM by itsrobert
Unless the source doesn't have any credibility.

9. Outdated, not current, over 2 weeks old
nice try! However, after this week's debate Hillary is most likely on the down slide.

10. LOL...yeah two weeks old is so outdated!
"However, after this week's debate Hillary is most likely on the down slide."

We'll see in next week's polling if her numbers change.

But its a myth that Democrats won't vote for Hillary.

11. I am more worried about independents in the GE if she were to be our nominee.
Her crossover appeal is limited and probably so is her ability to positively influence down-ticket races outside
of Democratic strongholds (especially with her current support of driver's licenses for undocumented workers/
illegal aliens).

I have no doubt most Democrats would vote for the party's nominee, whoever it is.

When was this poll taken? It looks interesting. Do you have a link we could use to read the rest of the results?

12. Link has been added to the OP.
The poll was part of a Gallup poll run a couple of weeks ago. Here's the link

I am just sick of DUers repeating ad naseum that Democrats won't vote for Hillary with zero evidence.

Thanks.
Of course Democrats will vote for Clinton as much as they would for Edwards or Obama if any of them become
the nominee. At least I would hope so. For all of the partisan bickering at DU, the real enemy is the GOP.

Polls don't lie, it's the people who interpret the polls that lie.

16. You didn't lie
You just repeated a poll that didn't address a key demographic: the Independent Voter.

17. This thread had to do with the claim that Democrats won't vote for her.
Its a claim that has been repeated on DU and I sought to address it with evidence.

Apparently that point was so uncomfortable to you, you went to great lengths to almost call me a liar.

15. I'll vote for Hillary because she supports broad stem cell research...
...unless she runs against Rudy, in which case the point is moot, since they are basically the same corrupt candidate. The only way I vote for Hillary is if she runs against an anti-stem cell Republican.

21. I can understand all the Obama supporters wanting people to vote for him
but what I can't understand is the out and out hate and bashing they are doing trying to get people to change their mind. I really truly believe that these people are not really democrats. I believe they are lurking republicans. Because Democrats have character and are classy. These people are not.

25. The Cult of Obama KNOW he's NOT going to get the nomination, and because of this
They've gone off the deep end, trying to defend the indefensible ie. the gay bashing Preacherman and Obama hitching his caboose to that loony.

You think the Cult of Obama are nasty now....just wait until Senator Clinton whoops his ass in the first set of Primaries....the Cult of Obama I predict will have a TOTAL meltdown....and I also predict that Obama himself will have a TOTAL meltdown....it won't be pretty.

22. I'll vote for her
despite the fact that she is being crammed down our throats by the DLC as the already chosen one. If Gore comes into the race, even then she may not lose the nomination because I'm no more convinced that the primary run is not crooked, than I am that the general election isn't. I'll vote for her because what else is there to do on that Tuesday? But I'm not pleased at being railroaded. At least she'll have Edwards as her running mate because her polls will show that to be the safe choice, that's good. I'making lemonade out of what I consider lemons.

24. I'm glad to hear that....but the DLC aren't "cramming" Senator Clinton down your throat
I doubt that John Edwards will be Hillary's Veep candidate....he's blown it, after his ASTONISHING and grotesque attacks, personal ones too, on Hillary, Edwards is going nowhere.

Which is sad, he COULD have been her Veep candidate....John Edwards was my candidate in 2004, and he was originally my candidate prior to switching my support to Hillary.

I think Hillary will choose either Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana or Governor Bill Richardson to be her Veep candidate.

I'd like it to be Senator Bayh, because he's literally my favorite Senator, he's FANTASTIC and VERY talented and experienced.

Clinton/Bayh, that's my bet....I reckon they'll win too.

26. My point was that she won't choose Obama
because her polls will likely show that a woman and a black are just too much. I have other reasons for thinking that Obama isn't quite ready for the job but it isn't the color of the skin and it bugs me that such polls would even be looked at.
