Biden Announces New Nevada Political Endorsement

Nov. 1: The former chairperson of the Nevada Democratic Party and current Nevada business development advisor, Paul Henry, today endorsed the candidacy of Senator Joe Biden for president in 2008.

“I am proud to support Joe Biden’s presidential campaign,” Mr. Henry commented. “His continued efforts to effectively tackle issues important to all Americans, including his historic anti-crime legislation and his plans to improve our education and health care systems, make him the ideal next commander-in-chief.”

Henry is currently president/CEO of Henry & Associates, LLC, and is a consultant on the Nevada Economic Development Advisory Board. Previously he served as Gen. Counsel to a subcommittee of the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, and served as Regional Director for Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid.

“Sen. Biden’s crime legislation will be particularly important in our state,” Henry explained, “as we work to reduce the high crime rates we have seen in the past few years. I look forward to having a leader like Joe Biden, whose integrity and track record of results are unmatched, in the Oval Office.”

2. This is great news for Joe. It's encouraging to see Paul Henry's reasons for

his endorsement -- Biden's crime legislation which Henry feels will benefit Nevada.

It shows that Biden's domestic plans are regarded highly - something that tends to get overlooked because of Biden's foreign policy experience.
