2. Sounds like a big "WAAAAHHHHH" to me.
"Stop piling on me! Wahh!"

Hey, Hillary, newsflash: You're the front runner. People are going to pile on. If you can't deal with crit, you have no business trying to run the formerly free world.

5. Exactly
Saying she was ganged up by men says she can't handle her status as a frontrunner because she is a woman. That is simply sexist.

21. first of all

I thought she was headed for a unanimous decision (pardon
the boxing metaphor, but this "fight" silliness has taken
hold of me :P) right up until she (admittedly) fell on her
face on the immigrant driver's license question.

until then, I thought she was more than holding her own
against both of them.

so, the "piling on" analogy probably isn't completely
appropriate.

6. Hillary knows about the baggage she's carrying around, and she knows it
better than anyone. Did she really expect to get up on stage and bullshit everyone by changing her stance, saying one thing one time and another the next, hiding documents about her public service, etc.?

If you want to be President, you should be transparent about important things that represent who you truly are. We know after Bush that secrecy and hiding things is not the way to go forward. Now Hillary expects to hide behind sealed records and confidential documents?

No way. We need change, not more of the same. A vote for Hillary is a vote for more of the same.

27. this is ridiculous

why is it that people think that the only candidate with "baggage" is
hillary? this pious attitude is just absurd. are all of the other
candidates perfect? and if so, why are they 20 points down in the
polls?

It was a pile on by the candidates plus Russert, and if they did it to Edwards, you'd be screaming mad right now.

14. Isn't it only 'piling on' if they have been knocked out/taken down.
After they are 'out' then others 'pile on'. Are we saying Hillary is done for now? (I'm hoping so, but I don't believe it - I think she got a couple punches that sting and is trying to get people to let up so she can figure out how to neutralize them)

15. tell ya what. maybe we will stop with the pile on garbage

if the pilers-on promise not to squeal when Team Clinton fights
fire with fire, and starts "drawing distinctions" between her
qualifications, character, and background, and those of her
opponents.

the blow back on this for edwards and obama likely to be pretty
stunning. they may even ultimately regret that they ever opened
this can of worms.

23. I would be enchanted to see Senator Clinton draw some distinctions
between her character, qualifications, acharacter and background and those of her opponents. Instead what I keep hearing is her saying that they are all in total agreement and that it's her turn.

hillary clinton is basing her democratic candidacy in 2008
on bob dole's 1996 republican candidacy?

you can't be serious.

first of all, the fucker ultimately lost big. think what you
will of hillary, but it's beyond credulity to think that she
would base her campaign on one of the biggest electoral
blowouts in the history of presidential campaigns. not
to mention the fact that it was her husband that
slaughtered him.

this just might be the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

16. Apparently waging an intraparty jihad is all the rage.

And every person waging a jihad against one of the candidates is absolutely convinced it is righteous, justified, and perfectly fine.

Good luck changing that dynamic.

24. I love how
In 2004, it was Mr. Lieberman and the DLC (Which Clinton is one of the major leaders of), that viciously slandered Howard Dean. Yet these are the same people now denouncing Edwards and Obama for pointing how clear differences.

Edwards was DLC in 04 when the attacks on Dean occurred, Clinton wasn't even in the race.

And Tim Russert would love to play a role in picking our candidate again. I think Tim got some of his questions from Rush. When half the questions focus on Hillary and or Bill, and Bush lovin' Tim Russert makes stuff up to boot, I call that a big pile on.
