Something you should ALL be thinking about:
If Gays made up as much of the population as anti-gays, Obama would not be caught DEAD with McClurkin.

2. 55-60% of Americans don't support same sex marriage. That's "much" of the population

6. I find that not supporting gay marriage may not be against gay.
My father who is old believes in civil unions, but he is not anti-gay. He was at one time but not now. He does not believe it is a choice. I think being against same sex marriage may not be against gays. I think you are reading too far into a poll that does not represent the changes this country is going through.

10. Is Hillary in favor of gay marriages?
I thought she said she supported civil unions. Same for John Edwards.

12. No she doesn't, and I think that very, very disturbing, it is my #1 problem with her

Luckily, her views on homosexuality have been growing, and hopefully her views will progress even further on this. Luckily, she doesn't go on stage and raise money with people who declare war on "The curse of homosexuality."

9. Admittedly, we're not there yet on same-sex marriage.
It will be decades before Americans approve of same-sex marriage in all 50 states. Hell, it took us until 2003 just to repeal sodomy laws. And that was by a Supreme Court decision.

But I'm cheered by the fact that a good majority of 18 - 24 year olds support same-sex marriage

16. I agree..
My mother (A democrat) does not support civil gay marriages...or any civil "marriage". She believes that a marriage is a religious rite, and anyone that does not participate in that religious rite (that is to say performed by an ordained officiant in a religious setting) is not actually "married" but that they are civilly united. She believes that ALL couples should receive Trust me, my mother could not be considered anti-gay by any stretch of the imagination.

5. And Hillary would've rejected Rev. Harold Mayberry's endorsement.
'Barack Obama isn’t the only Democratic candidate who should be called out for his anti-gay associates. As Paul Jenkins points
out Hillary Clinton has also taken up with some queer bedfellows, including Reverend Harold Mayberry.

In this game, all candidates have been associated with homophobes. For instance, Hillary Clinton recently trumpeted her friendship
with Harold Mayberry, of the First African Methodist Church in Oakland; her press release on the meeting/endorsement left out the
fact that Mayberry believes homosexuality to be comparable to thievery.

It’s true, the Oakland-based Methodist, once said, “I’m not rejecting people. As God loves, we love. I don’t reject thieves, I reject
thievery.” Too bad Clinton didn’t reject Mayberry’s endorsement.'

7. What makes you think that?
You actually believe he was aware of the gay bashing done by this dude before booking him and booked him in spite of it?

I think your candidate worship is starting to affect your brain.

17. Worried?
No. Disturbed, yes, but not worried. What Obama did was wrong, and by refusing to drop McClurkin, it really does scare me.

19. If that were the case, there would also be no Republican Party
Your hypothetical reminds me of when Ann Richards was asked, "What would you do if the Legislature passed a bill repealing the death penalty?" She replied, "I would faint."
