4. explain, so shirly states he saw a ufo
has kucinich stated he saw it? has kucinich made any statment other then vague referances to a communal bond of humanity? has kucinich done anything kookie at all? to me he seems more sane then the POTUS who claims god speaks to him.

8. hmm.
starlight speech- hackneyed and cliched, yes. Nutty, no.

UFO Denial- give him a couple of days.

Department of Peace- have you even read the detailed proposal? Nothing nutty about it.

cult of personality followers- same as all the other candidates

troops out in a month- doesn't say it

change of opinion- lots of people do it. Doesn't make him nutty.

10. I disagree
The starlight speech was major league crazy. He talked about starlight magic and the light of the stars and star dust and stuff. Its new age crazy as much as Bush's Jesus talk is crazy. If its bad for one its bad for the other.

I'll wait for the UFO denial and will offer an apology if he does deny it.

Yes I have. We have a department of state and justice for that. A department of peace is Orwellian and is lip service to nice words without substance.

No. The other candidates have actual accomplishments to back them up. Kucinich has none. Just words.

His change of opinion was literally overnight. Its not nutty, its just unscrupulous.

11. and I disagree
I find plenty to disagree with re Kucinich, but he's not nutty. And changing his mind is not anymore unscrupulous than thing his opponents have done. It's unscrupulous of Clinton to be raising dirty money. And his dept of peace is not redundant.

14. its only orwellian
if the function is opposite for the name, you can only call something orwellian once it is implimented and does the opposite of what it states.

12. denied
1. ive heard alot more bs speeches about more farout things from alot of other candidates as well, when he speaks about "new age" things they are vague terms because it is a belief thatwe are all connected, nothing wrong with that
2. so what?
3. whats wrong with that, i would like a federal dep devoted to staying friendly with other nations
4. wtf does that mean and all candidates have a fringe crowd
5. i was their when we first went it, it took less then a month to get in and setup opperations, it would take about that time with a conslidated effort from the UN to take over in order to get all military personal and equipment back to kuwait.
6. he revisted his beliefs and did not want stem cells to be "harvested" solely for the use of research (im mangling this but anyways) he was against abortion because he believe life begins at conception, but reflecting he decided that it is up to the women to decide, he is still believes it is wrong but not for him to decide.

19. it's more a cult of issues.
You impressed with Hillary on the issues, then those followers are more like a cult of personality; because her issues STINK. Too bad so many intelligent Democrats get caught up in media spin against those who know how to use critical thinking skills.

21. If he saw a UFO...
it was probably in the 80s and it could have been a B2 or the fighter. I'd rather have him tell the truth if he saw one, rather than lie about it.

18. We already knew that Dennis Kucinich was out of touch with reality
His politicial views are so outside of the mainstream, it ain't even funny.

So, yeah I'm not surprised that Kucinich is one of the UFO believing crowd....he believes in Chem Trails as well.

20. If getting our troops out of Iraq is out of the mainstream,
then fuck the mainstream.

A vote for DK = a vote for getting out of Iraq.
A vote for Hillary = a prolonging of the war on Iraq and a continued possibility of war with Iran.

24. DK speaks his mind!
He was the only one up there who had the balls to say what he really meant. To say on national TV that Bush/Cheney should be impeached is fantastic.

I think DK has absolutely zero chance of being nominated (maybe that is what gives him the freedom to speak his mind) but it was refreshing to see someone who hasn't spent 1,000 hours in mock debates with his or her handlers to come up with the most palatable answers based on polling data.
