Has any Democratic candidate said War with Iran is completely
OFF THE TABLE?

I keep hearing "All options are on the table". Is there no sanity?

Just curious...

1. I would think that Kucinich would be against it no matter what
Even though I don't support him, I respect his consistency. All the others are willing to assess future circumstances according to my knowledge.

'Course not
Most of them are hedging the hell out of themselves in order to appear Republican Lite, in order to win the mysterious "undecided" voters... Without realizing that the so-called undecideds are just waiting for someone, on either side, to take a damned position and stick with it.

5. Joe Biden
Biden said that Iran was not a threat, that they were decades away from getting any sort of atomic weapon. Biden said we needed to engage Iran, not demonize it.

6. No serious candidate
would ever take any military option off the table, anywhere in the world. It'd be stupid.

9. Really! Taking military option off the table is the dumbest thing
ANY COUNTRY can do. That tells your enemy, come on over
and beat us up. We will just turn the other cheek.

Having said that, military option should be the very LAST
choice.

8. Kucinich.
You can find many examples of his positions about Iran by googling "kucinich iran."

Here are two links to a two part youtube video in which he discusses the situation:

Here is an interesting floor speech from Sept. '06:

10. No candidate is going anywhere near suggesting that the US
should cut off it's own testicles and put them in a jar
on the mantlepiece.
I think they should emphasise their negotiation skills more, though.
All the candidates know that their is no appetite for war in the populace.
