Putin says "check" to dip-shit Georgie in the big game of diplomatic chess.
I wondered how long it would take for the Russians to make their move. I guess now is a good time. Our Army is broke and our Country is broke and we are incapable of manufacturing anything for our own defense anymore. We have no major allies, even the British are shying away. Are the Neocons so stupid that they think the Russians and Chinese will let this Country take over all the oil in the middle east? That was rhetorical, I know they are that stupid. I have seen evidence.

Putin made it clear that Russia will support Iran if the US decides to preemptively attack. Now what are you going to do William Kristol? If we are going into World War III whose side will China be on? Will they continue loaning us money. LOL, i doubt that.

And worst of all, the Congressional Democrats don't appear willing to even try to stop Cheney/Kristol from starting WW III.

2. Dimwits united for Apocalypse
This is completely their fault. Any smart leaders would have used the US's moral muscle to undermine Putin all those years ago...7 years later, the hungry monster it ready to come out of his lair...and who's going to stop him?

6. All Putin has to do is to convince a few major corporations like Exxon, GE, Halliburton, etc that
full out war is not necessary. There is enough spoils for everyone (meaning corporate powers not us peons) all they have to do is cooperate and work out the details. I wonder if Kristol is on the same page as Putin? I believe they both want the same thing. Hmmmm.

as long as he gets something out of it.

10. Agree, but I don't think it is necessary. If major corporations want
to rule the world they don't care who's the government figure head. They would drop Cheney and Georgie like hot potatoes.

9. Brilliant OP title!
And a brilliant move by Putin -- if he were dealing with a sane leader. I worry about what could happen in the next 15 months.

It's wrong for Congress to keep the American people in constant fear & anxiety about what the unstable boy king will do next. Like another poster said in another thread: the pressure cooker is about to boil over & explode. We need reassurance that we'll be safe from this administration's shoot-from-the-hip madness. Impeach now.

15. Thank gawd for Putin - he has enough clout to stop the madman in the White House.
If Cheney realizes that this is not a bluff, he might reconsider bombng Iran.
