22. The op is a cheap shot -
but this is as well. Others had to return amounts ranging up to the low $10,000s - Hillary had to return $850,000. There is a huge order of magnitude. Her none of the other campaigns caught it was disingenuous - he was one of a reasonably small number of Hilraisers, for other campaigns his donations and those connected to him were not concentrated enough that they would be investigated as they looked ok on the surface.

I do think that they have carefully examined this months contributions, because they are not stupid.

3. Some. It happens to every candidate.
You only hear about it from the "Liberal Media" if the candidate is a Democrat.

Especially if the candidate is a Clinton.

5. Add the rest of their names
If they engage in the bundler system of fundraising, they are at risk for having to return money. Everybody worries about PACs and lobbies, but they are at least covered by the FEC and we can see what goes on. Industry bundling is a legal back door to the same shit only less transparent and more vulnerable to shenanigans.

6. Not as much as Obama SHOULD HAVE returned to his mob friend
Can't find one damn statement that says Obama returned ANY of the money his mob friend from Chicago gave him. But then that doesn't stop the Hillary bashers from spewing shit.

13. You haven't been looking, then
That's actually pretty old news.

Obama’s own success allowed him to buy a $1.65 million mansion near the University of Chicago in 2005. Political insider Antoin “Tony” Rezko, who was under federal investigation, bought the vacant lot next door and sold part of it to Obama, giving the senator more space.

There has been no suggestion that the arrangement was illegal. Obama paid Rezko for the extra space. But Obama has since said it was a mistake to do business with Rezko, who was indicted last year on charges he sought kickbacks from companies doing business with an Illinois state pension fund.

Rezko and his companies contributed nearly $20,000 to Obama's state and federal races. Obama now has donated that amount to charity.

I actually agree that this thread is unnecessary and even misleading, as it could apply to any of the candidates. There is simply no way for a politician to completely vet donors to a political campaign. I don't like 'bashing' of any candidate, but believe me, I've seen far worse than the OP posted about Obama by your fellow Hillary supporters.

he doesn't have his spouse (unlike Hillary) to help him rake in BIG bucks.

14. Those stones have already been turned
and there was nothing noteworthy to see. A Rezko indictment won't make any difference. As we've seen in this and past election cycles, even crooks donate to political campaigns. That doesn't make the recipient a crook, too. And yes, I'm including Hillary in that.
