Is it appropriate for a sitting SC judge to go on a partisan grudge tour?
Edited on Mon Oct-01-07 06:21 PM by PlanetBev
Has anyone in the media even mentioned this?

A judge is supposed to be fair and impartial. This creep Thomas doesn't even try to hide his hatred of Democrats and liberals.

If nobody in the MSM is even questioning this, it underscores how diseased the values of this country has become.

1. To clarify: You're talking about Justice Thomas' book tour
he's having a 90 minute sit down with Rush freaking Limbaugh. I thought the federal judiciary was better than that.

5. It was until St. Ronnie the Dim crossed the uncrossable line.
Even Nixon was constrained in his nominations/appointments as the Senate used to understand how vital it was to appoint a qualified judiciary to the SCOTUS. They beat back Haynsworth, and Carswell after his successful nomination of Berger.

It was the man who knew how to act like a President that changed everything. His first nomination was O'Conner and she got in and fucked him by taking her appointment seriously. That was the last Republic nomination that wasn't a thoroughly partisan hatchet-man.

Thomas was installed because he was singularly unsuited for the job and would do what Scalia told him to do. Look at the records of the hacks that 41 and arbusto® have rammed through (with the help of Democratic traitors). Look at the votes.

Since Scalia, every Republic nominee has been strongly opposed and got through because a few Democrats sold out the country to try to curry favor with the administration.

Hate to say this but the only reason Thomas is on the bench is because of the melanin content of his skin, and he just squeaked in thanks to 11 traitors, including a certain Presidential candidate that wanted to be re-elected.

3. That's free speech at work baby! Let him spout, it's all good.
Consider that nobody on earth can ever aspire to judge impartially, and then accept him for what he is.

Also consider where your Country is heading. That is cause for cheer.

6. Grounds for impeachment I'd say
:D

I'd love to see the senate and house say, "Enough you half-baked, dimwitted fool! Be gone!"

7. Of course it's grounds for impeachment
It's like the head ref of tonight's MNF game going on a tour and saying he never really liked the New England Patriots.
