Hillary punked Russert, Blitzer, Stephanopolous et al yesterday...
Just watched Hillary's appearances on the Sunday talk shows!

I have never seen anyone handle the "gotcha" type questions favored by Russert, Blitzer et al like Hillary...she simply leaves them flatfooted, cuts them off when needed, expertly and without the type of rhetorical hesitation that allows questioners to cut off answers has the ability to stay completely focused and gives cogent and intelligent answers...no matter how stupid the question.

Personally, were I in her place and was asked some of the questions she was asked, in the way she was asked them...no way I could keep my cool and stay focused the way she does...

And five in one day...an absolutely masterful performance.

1. Why does she cackle maniacally when asked uncomfortable questions?

4. Everything she does is planned and staged.
The first cackle was fine. The second and third, not so much.

5. That's just the way she laughs
most of it was aimed at some silly questions asked by Chris Wallace.

18. I whine when her supporters fall for her spin.
Clinton speaking in Iowa about what the next president will inherit and what she would do:

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/news/speech/view/?id=2366

As a result of these failures, the next President will inherit some of the greatest foreign policy challenges in our history. Rising terrorism and extremism. Frayed alliances. And the increasingly difficult task of restoring American leadership in a world that has come to view our nation with suspicion and mistrust.

We cannot effectively address any of these challenges if we continue our military engagement in Iraq. As long as we stay there, our military strength will continue to erode. Our standing in the world will continue to decline. Our enemies in the region will continue to exploit our failures. Our occupation will continue to serve as a recruitment tool for terrorists. Our support for Afghan democracy, our conflict with the Taliban, and our hunt for al Qaeda will continue to be compromised. And our brave men and women will continue to lose their lives and suffer grievous wounds.

Clinton speaking out of her other face like she has already won the election?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/20...

"You know, I'm not going to get into hypotheticals and make pledges, because I don't know what I'm going to inherit, George.

She tells her supporters what they want to hear and then after she feels her supporters have taken it hook, line and sinker, she changes it to what it will actually be. This way when she gets in the oval office, she can point back and say well I said this too. Kind of like when she made her speech in 2002 before voting to go to war, as she spread the propaganda like Bush and Cheney, she also put in plenty of talking points about how war is bad so she could look back and say well I told you I thought it was bad, its his fault.

WHAT A LEADER. HER SUPPORTERS HAVE BEEN DUPED INTO ELECTING BUSH LIGHT AND THEY HAVE NO CLUE AND WILL DEFEND HER UNTIL THE END. IF IT WEREN'T SO SAD IT WOULD BE HILARIOUS!

9. It isn't cackling. It is great and uplifting laugher for being lobbed such
stupid questions. I think she should keep it up. It is a great way to open.

3. Especially Chris Wallace...
Reminded me of an overconfident Boxer (Wallace) who thinks he's going to score a KO, then get mugged in the middle of the ring.

All he could do was smirk.

Wallace and Russert are true jackasses and she cut them off at the knees.

10. Yep ...
I saw about 5 minutes of the Russert thing, and he asked about 4 questions about the GOD DARNED Move On ad, she spent about a minute answering each one, never giving him an INCH, but he kept going back to it over and over ... Me, I would simply just call him the fat piece of garbage he is, but I guess that would be why running for president isn't in my future ...

Hill has been slandered, bashed and hammered, relentlessly and nonstop, by the right wing and MSM for going on two decades now ... And, she is now simply TOO close the the white house to let pukebags like Russert and Blitzer get the best of her ... He knows what crape they are going to spew before they do, and has her way of dealing with it down ...

15. One of the best ways to deal with a bully is to laugh at them!
Rather than being defensive (and weak) she just laughed at the juvenile questions and staid on top!

Policy wise, HRC is not my first choice by any stretch, but she knows how to handle these fools. Our country cannot survive another Repug resident. If she is nominated, I hope everyone here will hold their nose and vote. Your country depends on it.

Laughing at bullies and throwing it back to them is the best way to deal with them.
I will support the Democratic nominee.

22. From watching her yesterday I would say this -
If I didn't know before yesterday that she had at least one brother I would definitely know after because of the manner in which she handled the questions. When you have a brother you are more comfortable when discussing/debating with the guys - you learn it is not personal but is instead a verbal game of one-up. She instinctively laughed at their posturing.

20. Come on--No matter whether one supports Hilary or not
we must have the intellectual honesty--to say--Hillary did an
absolutely fantastic job yesterday.

Her laughing in their faces was the best part.--kinda you will
not intimidate me attitude. Terrific way to diffuse any tension
put the question in perspective, so to speak.
