3. Oooooo, just last month when it was 130 degrees. It was down last August, from last July, too, DUH.

And it’s up over last year. And October is the end of Ramadan, And then it ALWAYS goes up.

The only 'Edit' I recall is adding the link to the actual report.

Every August, when temperatures in Iraq hit 130 degrees; violence goes down. And after Ramadan it picks up again. This is not new.

that was rude and an uncalled for personal attack.

the chart I first read (possibly incorrectly, perhaps not) showed the August numbers much lower than the July numbers for this year. Now, as I look at the chart, the July/August bars at almost a parity.

I am no fan of "the Surge" and think it's a waste of men and money but you should be a bit slower in attacking someone with a legitimate question, even if it may be an ignorant one.
