Bush says he's always supported it, wants an increase. The Democrats have passed a bill they know he will veto. Congress waited to late risking children's health for political purposes.

Blah, blah, blah, sound fundamentals (which I take to mean that we're not on a barter system and have actual currency), blah, blah, blah. "Takin' money out of the hands of investors and consumers." More bipartisan blather, finishing off with "Congress isn't going to get its way."

10. The economy is strong
but there are unsettling times in the housing market.

Bush wants to change the tax code so that there is no penalty when people renegotiate their loans.

The Democrats want to raise taxes and that may cause a recession. When asked if he thinks we're headed to a recession, he suggested they talk to an economist.

He hopes he can persuade the Iranians to give up their nuclear weapons peacefully.

It is imperative we work in a multilateral fashion, at the UN.

The "free world" will not tolerate Iran building a nuclear weapon. They threaten Israel with violence. Never mind they have no other way to protect them self, Iraq wishes they were a nuclear power five years ago.

72. Post-conference comments: All Move On
Williams talking to Russert, completely buying into the "Democrats hate the military" meme. Well done, Pumpkinhead.

Now he's talking about Bush dodging the question about Israel's act of war against Syria. And they're actually mentioning it! I'll be darned. "The president's non-answer is only going to encourage more questions." Oh really, Tim-meh? Are you going to ask more questions, or is this the end of it for you? I'm betting you never mention it again.

76. Tim-meh needs to find out what Archer Daniels Midland wants him to say
or what Mary Matalin has written for him. Then moonface will tell all of America what the conventional wisdom in DC is.

77. Timmy will be told to cut it
out. The press isn't going to demand the dictator answer to them!

By tonight it will never have happened. I promise.
