Sent Tucker an email on his criticism of Kerry for not doing anything
about the kid getting tasered. He called Kerry a weakling.

Told Tucker I found that rather hilarious coming from a guy who goes and gets some friends to come back and beat up a gay guy for him.

3. The sad thing is that some DUers actually agree with Tucker and the freepers on this one.
They somehow expected him to jump and fight with the cops. apparently.

5. Actually, in this clip at 1:51, Tucker said the cops
Edited on Tue Sep-18-07 05:44 PM by cboy4
"outta be ashamed of themselves." for using the taser.

I am absolutely not a Tucker apologist, and I don't know what he said later.

But one thing I am is fair, he Carlson did harshly criticize the cops.

Watch for yourself at 1:51

*****ON EDIT....I misinterpreted your question, but I still think it's interesting Tucker criticized the police.

7. Thank you...
I am no fan of Tucker either. In my opinion, it was John Kerry who handled the situation LOUSY!

10. By saying he'd answer the disruptor's question though other students played by the rules
and were waiting in line?

Yes - Kerry should have informed him that what he did was not fair to other students, and that if he wanted to wait his turn he would be glad to answer his question.

13. By responding pathetically and then trying to cover it up by saying...
Edited on Tue Sep-18-07 06:38 PM by elizm
he didn't know until afterwards that the kid was being tasered. You can hear John Kerry talking on the tape when the kid is yelling "HELP! Don't taser me!" and then screams in pain. I can understand that it would have been a difficult situation for any Senator to have to deal with. But to use the excuse that you didn't know until after that he was being tasered is just sadly pathetic.

6. While we are on subject of sending emails...
may I also suggest contacting Randi Rhodes? I listend to 15-20 minutes of her show, and found it completely abominable. She has a right to think that Kerry was wrong, I happen to disagree, my right too. But to call him effete and describe his reaction as atrocious (the exact words she used)? Not to mention encouraging a caller that brought up the swiftboats and suggested that maybe they were not so wrong after all??? This kind of "analysis" is on par with what Limbaugh does and it is a disgrace.

8. Good point. I have yet to see anyone say what they expected Kerry
to do. It was totally out of his hands & hell, he could not see or know everything that was going on.

Name one politician who interrupts the police when they are doing whatever they are doing.

11. Absolutely agree with you on this. I turned her permanently off weeks
ago. She was talking over, yelling and becoming shrill with a caller who had another point of view from hers.... Becoming the lefty female rush....

14. Yep, better send that note off to Randi, too.
I heard her beating up on Kerry today. What's up with that?

16. By the way, I treid to email her
but could not find a way to do so from her site. So I emailed Air America instead. May I suggest that those who agree with me do the same?

9. Either way, Tucker criticizes.
Had Kerry jumped out to rescue loud guy, he'd have been criticized for taking sides with a crazy guy against the police. See how it works when your a Republican who has your own show?

15. The Carlson boy is hardly worth the effort
He is the lowest rated 'personality' on teevee.

He has no moral compass and almost daily tries to have things both ways.

He is an unaccomplished sperm lottery winner who is where he is by way of connection, not ability.
