Time: The Running Mates
Time has a 3 page cover story on the spouses of the Candidates and how the role has evolved for First Lady.
They cover the traditional to the unconventional (yes, elizabeth and michelle).
I decided to just post the link as I thought it would be better to just read the full story without the interruption.

1. I'll bet the Republicans want Hillary to win...
just so they can snicker like Junior High School girls while referring to Bill Clinton as 'The First Lady'.
