Got something rather amusing in the mail today...

These folks want to stop the ACLU from censoring America's true Christian values! I'm quoting them, BTW...

They wanted my money!

Well, too bad for them...

Look at what I did......and they even provided me with a postage paid envelope!

I just could not resist this golden opportunity....they don't come along every day...

Sounds similar to what I did when Edison sent me something with a business reply envelope that did not fit what they wanted sent back. I filled out the form, put a sticky on the form with a note about how if they wanted something sent back, they should send an envelope large enough to accomodate. Then I accordion pleated it to fit their envelope.

for credit cards, etc. Stuff every bit of their literature, the heavier the better, into the envelope and mail it back. I've been suprised how fast they take me off their lists!

I hope your response gets logged automatically by a computer system and triggers regular requests. Not that I want you to be flooded with junk mail, but it would be nice to see them wasting their postage budget.

Direct mail campaigns are so automated that sending any response is a good way to get a lot more mail from them.

yep, I see this kind of propaganda quite frequently being a letter carrier. Of course, I NEVER ever read the mail, except for an occasional postcard.

There are many organizations like this that seem to have such a hate filled agenda- and yes, they hate Hillary.

I found it quite amusing the last time that I saw a postcard from Ecuador, and the guy on the card wrote- "Dave, you were right! I LOVE BOOBIES!" Having just seen that wonderful National Geographic special on the Galapagos- I knew what he was talking about, also!

Of course, I relayed this story to my guy, who left a phone message on night for me, stating the same thing. My two daughters think that he was talking dirty- their minds must have been in the gutter.

Back in 2000 I put my name on some repug list to get email. (Just to see what they were promoting). Then they started sending me yellow envelopes asking for funds. I packed them with Deception Dollars. (see: deceptiondollar.com ) By the way, I went to the 40th aniversary of the Summer of Love last weekend and there are two new ones out. One called Conception Dollar with Cindy Sheehan.

Get a thick chunk of sheet steel that will fit in the "Address will be paid by addressee" envelope. Maybe a quarter to a half inch thick.

Write your message on that with a Sharpie.

Then mail it to'em.

Your reply will cost them like $4 for the first-class weight of all the steel! :-)
