Barack Obama will be in the Bay Area for a Women for Obama event this Friday, September 7th.

Due to an overwhelming response, Women for Obama has joined with Generation Obama to increase the number of available seats and lower the ticket price.

The rally will be on West Campus Lawn at Santa Barbara City College, 721 Cliff Drive at 10:30am.

The rally is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is strongly encouraged.

and am taking my daughter who will be casting her very first vote in the democratic primaries. :headbang:

My daughter is a volunteer for the campaign in the Bay Area, but will not be there in time for this event, which is just killing her.

However, she did see Obama in Oakland and in San Diego, and will definitely be at other upcoming events.
