is a seriously cool name for a town. Sounds like it should be up in the wilds of Alaska, though.

5. Never been there
My brother in law lives in Waterloo, and I did some last-minute volunteer work for Bill Bradley in Ames and Des Moines in 2000. That's the extent of my Iowa knowledge.

7. yes very cool name
I used to ski alone a lot. The first question at any resort is where are you from. My reply was often Strom Lake Iowa, just cause I liked the name.
