12. They are "after" Edwards
"They" refers to winger supplicants following the message from on high.

Trippi is right for once. "They" fear an Edwards nomination over Clinton or Obama.

He has more appeal to the general populace from his work for Middle America, despite his lapses in a few votes.

18. Exactamundo
But there is a "they" on the Democratic side as well. And they don't want anything to do with Edwards. Because he might actually act like a Democrat.

13. I remember back in 04...
when Jon Stewert owned his ass on "Crossfire." Carlson is a dumbass and his buddy Willy Geist is a dork with a bad haircut. I just can't wait to see his ugly face on November 4, 2008 when John Edwards is elected President of the United States.

A trip down memory lane.

14. If that message can be made to stick about Edwards
as centrist and status quo a candidate as there is, then think of what it means for candidates -- or pols in general -- who actually fall to the left of the spectrum. Demonize. Marginalize. Divide and conquer.

15. Tucker Carlson is an annoying little blowhard.
Or is that Sean Hannity? No wait. It's Bill O'Reilly. No. Strike that, it's all of those stupid shitstains whose mental capacity, while most of us are operating on a Sony Play Station, can be compared to that of Pong, circa 1972.

19. True
That fact that the MSM is so down on him makes me think that maybe he is the candidate for me (currently I'm undecided). Obviously, he scares someone in power - if he didn't they'd just ignore him like they do Kucinich.

20. Exactly. You can always tell who the GOP's most "dangerous" candidates are...
The media says least about them and they focus on their dream candidate plus one backup, betting on the first and second GOP choices, just to make sure... they're playing for keeps while the people think it's for fun.

22. But, but, but I thought when the GOP/MEDIA attacked you
it's really only a tactic to make the Dems close rank and support that candidate.....cause that's the one they want to run against.

......while the one that the GOP/Media really are afraid of does not get any attention.

Doesn't this mean that the GOP wants us to close rank behind Edwards and want him as the nominee....and therefore are simply tricking us into this? I read about this tactic all day today on DU.
