Kucinich won the original ABC debate poll, so they put up another one ? wtf
Edited on Mon Aug-20-07 08:37 PM by Faye
This was just posted from his myspace:

A short time ago it had been brought to my attention that ABC has reposted a poll very simular to the one that Dennis has won.

It seems that they may be a bit supprised or ruffled to find that he did.

Dennis won that poll fair and square.
Won't it really be statement if he wins it again?

Check out the new poll that has been posted...

1. I dunno...
The questions on the links posted are different..

one says

Who do you think will win?

and the other says.

Who do you think won?

either way it's fishy...but maybe that's how they can change the polls? ask a similar sounding question to get another result...i dunno...but something stinks in Mudville..

3. the thing is...
I don't think that "Who is winning the debate" poll was there until after the one that Dennis won. I know from myspace bulletins that his staff or whatever has been watching that page all day, so I'd assume they would have seen it before now if it had been there.

52. Person? what person?
I didn't see a person in that photograph of the candidates. Therefore, said person apparently never existed.

There ya go, history rewritten.

This makes me so mad...it seems to me the MSM is really going out of their way to "erase" any candidate who poses a threat to the chosen frontrunners in this election cycle. A couple of examples:

1) During the CNN/YouTube Debates, Kucinich and Mike Gravel were placed on the outside edges of the stage, seemingly by design, to make them both look like "fringe" candidates, tinfoil hats barely worth listening to. And who could forget Anderson Cooper's snide little joke to Kucinich: "I can't imagine there's anyone further to the left than you."

2) In the FoxNews Republican debate earlier this summer, Ron Paul emerged as the winner by a large margin in the post-debate poll. Does anyone else remember the look on Sean Hannity's face when he had to read the results? He damn near choked on his own tongue. Eyes bugged out, brain went into full-tilt mode. Seriously, it was priceless!

(Needless to say, the poll results were quickly amended within the hour to make it look like Rudy won the debate.)

We should flood ABC with phone calls & emails. Let them know that the American people are not so easily fooled.

15. Understand and maybe you would post the links with the different
questions, you can see them in the screen capture you just posted.

I remember see both questions this a.m. not sure about last night. Anyway there are two different questions with different links.

What I have seen all day is a picture of only 7 candidates on one of their links and feel that needs to be addressed. It may not matter for the top three, but it sure matters for Dennis.

14. I have the entire debate on my site for anyone interested.
It's in 9 parts, with no commercials. I still haven't decided to endorse a candidate at this point, but I have to say the Kucinich had the best damn answers, and well thought out plans to each and every issue that is key in this coming election. He was really treated like the token clown or troll by the others. At the very *least* the man's ideas demand serious attention.

51. No, Disney.
Jeez, you would think people would know who owns what in the media, here's a breakdown, GE, defense contractor, polluter, etc. owns NBC, MSNBC, etc. Disney owns ABC, CBS used to be owned by Viacom, but they were split up into New Viacom and CBS corporation, which is itself owned by Sumner Redstone, who is the majority shareholder. News Corporation owns Fox news, of course, and CNN is owned by Time-Warner.

41. But as of 12:38 PDT, he was winning the second poll also.
The polls aren't scientific, but they aren't "meaningless" as some have claimed.
Part of the meaning is inferred by the actions of ABC News. When they didn't get the "desired" results, they reposted a variation of the same poll. Next week Stephanopoulos likely won't even mention the poll, (unless the results change) or respond to the observation that the debate questions were skewed to polarize the race to one between Obama and Clinton.
