1. And who chose to use that perceived power to OPPOSE Bush and his agenda?
And who chose to USE their perceived influence to SUPPORT Bush on his terrorism and Iraq war policies between 2001-2006?

Tora Bora?

Downing Street Memos?

Alito?

Iraq withdrawal timetable?

3. I was wondering that myself...
They must be excluded for some reason...

I didn't look through the entire 50, but they weren't in the top 35 or so...

4. That's GQ, not CQ. Here's the link to the entire list:

I like what they said about Lieberman, Number 32:

32. JOE LIEBERMAN
65
Independent Democrat Senator, Connecticut

Lieberman seems to relish his “ideological independence” in a narrowly divided Senate. But lap it up now, Joe: Your stock will plummet if the Democrats, as expected, widen their majority in the ’08 elections.

5. She does squat with her power
Except beat up Democrats. That's what I've been saying. When you wonder where the media is getting their ideas about the Democratic Party - it's from Hillary Clinton. The most powerful Democrat in DC, because we know Reid & Pelosi don't have her power.

9. So why does she have the lead???????
I can only surmise that repubs vote for Hillary in those polls. They WANT to run against her because they know they can beat her. A lot of the formerly repub public has become independents and they will vote for ANY dem but Hillary.
