Also shows that there is no direct relationship between a neg rating and whether a person will vote for someone...

Hillary calls herself progressive. Do you despise her, too? Uh, no. Well then, it must be that she's lying about being progressive, because if she really was you could never support her. Right?

Tied with Rudy in Ohio, but leading all others, and tied with all but Guiliani in Colorado, but definitively in striking distance...

I agree, the more people see here, hear her speak, realize she is not the caricature that the media has been creating all these years, the higher her popularity goes...

"HILLARY IS UNBEATABLE!" NOMINATATE HER NOW AND SHE WILL BE YOUR PRESIDENT, WE PROMISE...BECAUSE SHE IS UNBEATABLE! YES WE BELIEVE, NO CAN COULD EVER BEAT HILLARY EVER! and if she does lose to a republican by some chance....point the finger at Nader, or voting machines or dirty tricks or republicans smears....But, don't worry about that now...FIRST JUST GET HILLARY NOMINATED AND MAKE HER THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE BECAUSE SHE'S UNBEATABLE! YES!

And we'll do our job and keep the polls coming every single day, how Hillary will beat anyone & everyone in the universe....while our media will make sure she continues getting positive coverage day in and day out!!! We need to have her nominated everyone wants her, the MSM, republicans, the DLC, moderates - only the progressive/liberals are telling you to look further...Pay no attention to them, they don't get no press coverage....Because Hillary is unbeatable!

Keep watching TV for even more and better reports on Hillary....that's the true medium television, just keep watching and we'll give you all the facts and only the facts... How Hillary is unbeatable, Obama is doing great for an African-American...and John Edwards is scum...Keep watching TV and depend on us to help you spit out your talking points!

Many suspect that the primary was moved up by the ones who are the DLC Dems, the Florida Mainstream Democrats, mostly.

She will win the Florida primary, but a Republican will win the general here. It will be that way for a long time.

Edwards hasn't made a single vote in three years what the fuck are you talking about? In the last three years Hillary "Republican lite" voting is so fucking middle of the road to right it's truly disgusting....learn something and read each of their platforms, and then tell me who is the true progressive running.

25. Lies? You seem to be claiming his 6 years in the Senate don't count.
"learn something and read each of their platforms, and then tell me who is the true progressive running."

Platforms are nice but voting records are more concrete. And Edwards voting record is decent but is not as progressive as he is portraying himself.

"voting is so fucking middle of the road to right it's truly disgusting"

So how in the world can you vote for John Edwards who voted to the right of Hillary on the Iraq War (with the exception of a single funding bill)? How do you reconcile Edwards' vote on bankruptcy? If Hillary's voting record the last 3 years is so disgusting how do you stand Edwards' 6 years?

Or is this outrage for show?

"then tell me who is the true progressive running."

Dennis Kucinich. Next question.

the process and then blaming the DNC for following rules they broke.

I resent it, and I think they should back off. It is sort of backfiring on them.

I do not post criticisms of Hillary here. On election day I can chose to vote for her or not.....I don't like it being inevitable.

I don't like that her hubby defended Bush against his own party about Iraq. It made me furious. He said he did not oppose what was going on there.

and it took you (3 yrs) until Fri Mar 23rd 2007, to respond to it.

Truthfully, I'm sick of addressing and defending the arbitrary cherry picking of statements and actions that aggravate people. Griping has never accomplished anything and never will. What I want to see is this country turned around, put back on it's feet and start benefiting the people who live here. We already know in the right hands it can be done. I want to look to the future knowing the country is in proven, capable, hands that have the wherewithal to stave off another election theft. I'm sick of broken promises of "I'll fight for you" and it never materializes....Thats what I want!

59. If you think the Iraq War giving in by Bill Clinton is not "aggravating"...
I presented several instances where he said such things, though I doubt he realized how vicious it would become under Bush.

I have always done what I had to do in the general election, and I most likely will this time. But it is preordained. There is no denying that.

And I think we should be aware that Bill Clinton and his advisors did have influence on the vote for the Iraq invasion. I doubt he thought Bush would do it so viciously, but Bush had already by that time proved himself inadequate as president.

All three of these men can't be wrong. Advised by Clinton advisors

Hillary is beaten nationwide against Giuliani especially-- again, despite her name recognition against Giuliani. Whereas Obama and Edwards both beat all Republicans in national polling. Why not select the candidate who does best in the national polls?

"Hillary is beaten nationwide against Giuliani especially-- again,"

It depends on the poll. Hillary is beating Giuliani 4 out of the last 7 polls taken by different firms. Her lead is outside the MOE on 3 of those. Giuliani leads her outside the MOE in one of those.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/general_election_giuliani_vs_clinton-227.html#polls

"despite her name recognition against Giuliani."

Ummm Giuliani has over 80% name recognition. Also people seem to like Rudy less the more they get to know him. Even though his fav/unfav ratio is still very high, it is down significantly from earlier this year.

"Whereas Obama and Edwards both beat all Republicans in national polling"

Again it depends on the poll. Edwards has seen his edge over the GOP ebb away over the last few months especially against Rudy. Obama has nudged ahead of Rudy.

"Why not select the candidate who does best in the national polls?"

If all 3 can beat the GOP, electability should be a back burner issue.

56. For every lame poll like this, we can dig up another showing Hillary losing
or at best within the margin of error against Giuliani in particular. One example: http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/content/nation/epaper/2007/08/09/a4a_qpoll_0809.html

Even more disturbing is that she's at best holding ground in Pennsylvania, and floundering in Ohio.

And this is at a point when Hillary has especially favorable media coverage, when public anger at Bush over Iraq is at a high mark, and before the GOP attack machine has laid into Hillary even barely. A very bad sign for Hillary in too many ways to name.

57. You just linked to the same poll.
"Even more disturbing is that she's at best holding ground in Pennsylvania, and floundering in Ohio"

Why is that disturbing? In the Q polls she beats the GOP in those states while Obama is losing.

"before the GOP attack machine has laid into Hillary even barely"

Two hit piece books have come out.

A Bush flack from the Pentagon implied she was aiding the enemy.

And the WH press secretary just felt it necessary to attack her on her 1st TV ad.

Its true they haven't laid into her but its not for lack of effort.
