I'm very worried about it. Should I be? You just had to know the fuckers were going to come up with some way to steal more elections.

2. CA ballot initiatives...

can be incredible confusing -- on purpose, often. If you are not very careful and informed, you can think you are voting one way on the issue and, instead, end up voting the other way. The writers of these intitives can use language in very interesting ways.

I think the biggest way to combat the problem is through voter education about just what this intiative will mean. I plan on writing up a little email on it and then sending to to everyone I know, and asking them to send it on. I will also be talking to all my neighbors and co-workers about it, as well as having house signs. I may even pamphlet my local stores. Education, education, education. Once people know what it really means, it can be stopped.
