Will Edwards's speech be televised?
Edwards will be giving an economic speech today at the Aspen Institute and was wondering if the cable news plans on showing it live. We all know most(if not all) of Clinton and Obama speeches are aired live...and then talked about for hours, which is part of the Clobama* phenomenon. Anyone hear anything?? I'm not sure if he asked(probably begged) for media to attend...or..??

*Clobama- The collective media's love affair with anything Clinton or Obama

1. Clobama- The collective media's love affair with anything Clinton or Obama … until the primaries end
Then the collective media will spurn the Democrat and begin their love affair with the Republican nominee.

2. No media coverage for Edwards.
Since he is not black or a woman there will be no media to cover him.

3. Most of Obama's and Clinton's speeches are covered live
except possibly on CSPAN. The only Obama speech I heard on the cable stations carried live was his speech entering the race - and Edwards' speech in New Orleans was covered as well. Even in 2004, Kerry's major speeches got very poor coverage - except on CSPAN.

Now, if Lindsey Lohan wanted to give a speech, they would all be there.

7. It's very unlikely
to be televised.

And I disagree that most (if not all) of Clinton and Obama speeches are aired live. They probably speak multiple times per day, and I've never seen live coverage.
