Senator Dodd was 110% right what he said about poll numbers
He was on Tweety's show and said quote: People in NH and Iowa don't want to be told in Aug. who there going to vote for in Feb. of next year by a poll showing who's ahead at this time.

1. Darryl - I just posted about this too.
I cannot get over how rude Matthews was to him.

Dodd deserves more respect than that.

2. That was very true
We JK group people found a link to an August 2003 NH Kerry visit that we all linked to aboout a year and a half ago. Most of it was fun - at one point, Kerry played a complicated classical piece on guitar at a music store - at another he helped a little girl find her mom in a crowded store. He also just talked to a lot of people.

At one point, some reporters came over and badgered Kerry's with questions that in essence said "no one likes you why are you running? (Real questions were - Do you think that you could beat Dean, followed by at least 2 questions with the premise being that Dean was better - Kerry responded that he would just continue telling people his ideas and would see if there was interest. He was then asked of rumours that either Gore or Clinton would enter - and was asked if that would make him quit.

This may be why, at a Kerry book event when asked about knowing all 3 2008 candidates because they all served in the Senate - he said that there were also Dodd and Biden (and then he said something positive about them) and said that he knew how it felt not being mentioned. (He refused to single out one as best or to knock anyone.

5. Kerry has more class in his little finger than Matthews has in his whole being.
Matthews reminds me of a little kid that has had too much sugar.

Kerry, on the other hand, is a true gentleman.

Thanks for posting that :)

8. I like Dodd best
and Edwards next best as long as Al and Wes sit this one out.

I like Dodd's basic approach and experience, notwithstanding his past corporate ties, and Edwards for his "get" on income inequality and the importance of unions and health care.

Hillary is too corporate for me and Barack sings to my heart, but needs some more experience.
