I would have told the Bush that Congress was going back to their districts to hear what the people thought about this sweeping legislation before considering a vote...

We all know Bush, the Impaler, was set to let his army Surround the House and Senate and refuse to let them leave until they voted on this bill...

This is where I would have started to roll out the cots and bring in the Pizza...

Congress says make us...

If he did forcibly turn the Congresspeople back into their respected chambers, then all hell would have broken loose...

The people, I think, at that time would be appalled at the dictatorial mind of Bush...

People, average people would start talking about impeachment...

I am not sure about the reaction of the people to such an act by the Esteemed Mr. Bush, however I do agree that this vote wasn't in our best interest. I can only hope they get this mess cleaned up in the next 6 months and don't cave in again.

I know I will be writing to all my Representatives to do so.
