Obama says Clinton has foreign policy like Bush's (on dealing with "rogue" states)

It looks like Obama is trying to escalate this. Will it work, though? Team Clinton is not exactly a weakling when it comes to fighting back. On the other hand, Obama has declined and then stagnated in the polls since June as HRC increased her lead on him (while some polls show Obama's lead over 3rd place declining during the same period) and he has to do something to cut into her lead and, to a lesser extent, solidify second place so many continue to view him as the only alternative to HRC.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama accused Hillary Clinton on Thursday of backing a foreign policy toward hostile nations no different than U.S. President George W. Bush's in an escalation of their war of words this week.

Obama, an Illinois senator, fired back at New York Sen. Clinton for calling him "irresponsible and naive" for saying during a CNN/YouTube debate on Monday that he would be willing to meet without preconditions the leaders of Iran, Syria, North Korea, Cuba and Venezuela during his first year in office.==

==Clinton has tried to portray herself as the most experienced option among Democrats, far more prepared to be commander-in-chief than Obama, who has been in the U.S. Senate less than three years compared to her eight years as first lady to President Bill Clinton and senator since 2001.==

=="The Bush administration's policy is to say that we will not talk to these countries unless they meet various preconditions. That's their explicit policy," Obama said.==

=="You'll have to ask Senator Clinton what differentiates her position from theirs," Obama added.==

2. Obama;s campaign can't seem to settle on how they want to hit Clinton on this.
They tried flip flopper but now its Bush.

So basically their 1st batch of oppo research showing Hillary has the same position as Obama (talk to our enemies etc) debunks their next stage attack on Clinton.

4. I am so sick of Obama's meltdown. He is just ruining himself
with all the rheotic..I would have picked him second but now since he is becoming so trash speaking I don't know if I would vote for him at all. I wish he would come to his senses. Does he want to be president so bad he is doing away with this ethics.

5. Knock it off, please
I used to be with you on the bash-Obama-to-help-Edwards boat, but not anymore.

Obama's heart seems to be in the right place, and, while I don't agree with him about meeting with communist dictators, he at least is willing to think independently and boldly.

As far as economic issues are concerned, Obama may be very centrist; but unless there's trade policy reform, economic progressivism would effectively do nothing but encourage more companies to offshore jobs. And there's no evidence that Clinton is any more anti-globalist than Obama.

I still support Edwards, but I strongly dislike Clinton.

6. Where did I bash him? I took no position on this in the OP

This is a political discussion forum and I discussed the politics of this political news. I personally think this whole thing is manufactured. They have the same position on the issue but are trying to make it appear otherwise in an attempt to win political points.

As far as HRC and BO go, they are like Pepsi and Coke.
