Bush Wikipedia article - editors needed
Wikipedia reaches millions of people each day. I'm looking for editors who can help build consensus and eliminate the strong right-wing bias in the GW Bush article. Editing Wikipedia articles is open to anyone but please read the rules. I'm not looking to trash the page but to eliminate propaganda and point of view. This can only effectively be done through consensus-building. Here's an example bias:

The economy has remained strong, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average setting several record highs and the GDP experiencing healthy growth.<49><50> Several news sources argue that the economy, however strong, is only benefiting the wealthy, and not the majority of middle and lower-class citizens,<51><52><53> while others have claimed the exact opposite.

Of course, claiming that the economy has been strong is an opinion (2.5% average GDP growth in 6 years and 0.7% last quarter for example). Then it goes on to claim that only a few "news sources" are critical. There's no mention in this section of things like stagnant median incomes, a sagging dollar or large budget deficts.

There are a lot of very skilled writer/editors here. I'm sure someone will step up.

3. Sure hope so
Strength is in numbers. Wikipedia is one media outlet regular people have control over at no financial cost other than donations. When entering "George Bush" in a google search, his Wikipedia site shows up first, ahead of the White House.

There are a fair number of Bush zealots editing that page.

2. Someone needs to create a Scandals of the Bush Administration page
There are so many, all directly connected to the white house. Maybe we can start from the DU scandal page.

4. Good idea
There's a category for this.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:George_W._Bush_administration_controversies

but no specific page. I imagine it would be lengthy.
