I love Al Sharpton!
What a great statement about the lie and the liars who lied about them. Go Al!

1. Powerful!
Why did Bush lie?

Sharpton: Because he's a liar!

I think that was the best exchange of the entire set of debates.

3. Thank GOD for Dennis Kucinich and Al Sharpton!
I've never heard so much truth spoken! Al Sharpton is speaking for me! Kucinich is saying everything that we need to do in America, and stating it unapologetically.

The press is stunned! Bush is a LIAR! :)

20. Sharpton cannot be counted on
when it comes to crunch time he will always put his own interests first. some compare him to jesse jackson. the only thing they have in common is the color of their skin. sharpton works for himself and will support gop if it's in his best intrest. i'm not attacking you and sure he says good stuff - but i think he's a fraud and in the end actually does more damage to the causes he supposedly believes in.

10. Not as long as he's calling Bush a liar.

:)

On edit, if he's being funded by the GOP, they should demand a REFUND. They're not getting their money's worth...;)

27. It does
Sharpton was witty in the debates, but the recent revelations about Sharpton's backers has made me remember why Al Sharpton is seen as a scam artist by most Americans.

29. Yes.
That's why he didn't go into the "why" of the question. He's fun to watch though.

4. "Why would he lie?"
Christ, these NBC shills are despicable.

He lied because he wouldn't get what he wanted if he told the truth.

7. And how hard is it to say it's all about OIL and POWER?
Because that's what it's all about......control, oil, money, power, and STAYING in power!

8. We have great candidates
all of them - Sharpton, Dean, Edwards, Kucinich, Kerry. We should be proud of all of these guys, and those that aren't on the stage.

Even more reason to get behind the guy with the (D) after his name in November.

23. Why nobody has suggested Kerry/Sharpton ticket?
It gains us almost 97.5% of black votes. Plus we can use
Sharpton to rip the hell out of Bush and Cheney. Al is so
quick witted and a walking dynamo.

24. I love Sharpton.
But he brings along a lot of baggage with him. I can just see the Repugs' ads now with Sharpton of the early 80's, big hair, flamboyant sweat suits, etc. I wish that it wasn't true because you're right, he's the quickest wit on the stage and the straightest shooter.
