Robert Shrum, author of "No Excuses." Nope, still not ringing a bell for me. Covering "The Senate Debate" now.

3. When you see him, you'll recognize him, I think. He's on Tweety a lot,
is plugging this gawdawful book, and though he's been a Dem adviser, he's lost every campaign he's ever been involved in.

17. Yep - he trusted the DNC and his pollster 'friends' - the irony is that Shrum actually helped
two winning campaigns and never noticed that the DNC was sitting on its ass and letting the party infrastructure collapse so completely in so many states that the GOPs had little problem stealing votes in 2000, 2002, and 2004.

4. Why do I get the feeling Stewart might jump him a little?
Every once in a while Jon will take one of these beltway trolls and stomp on them. I wonder if he could do that tonight to Shrum. I hope so.

5. OMG! Sam Bee! just did Part 1 of her new Series, "Is America Ready for a..." (Mormon)
"Is America Ready for a..." (Mormon), and she interviewed one of the Historians from the FRONTLINE show on The Mormons! And compared the State of Missouri to something really disgusting!

12. I know, I lived in Chesterfield for about 5 months...
...drove me nuts how conservative and boring it was, so I hauled-ass back to Atlanta. Are they really shutting down I-64 in the middle of St. Louis!?!? :banghead: That's gonna suck.

14. I am quite frankly pretty disgusted by the tell-all books coming out.
I am normally behind the notion of answering when opportunity knocks, but the opportunism of selling a book versus bloodying up a Democratic contender is pretty cheesy. At least the wingnuts have the good sense to go after their opponents. :eyes:

Difference is, I wasn't paid to TRY to win any.
