7. It sure should be an option...
What he said about Congress looking petty if they went for it was really idiotic!

8. No, he's right. Impeachment is simply out of the question.
Actually, it would be a mistake.

10. He is correct......Obama will be able to argue the war the most effective
Edited on Thu Jun-07-07 07:33 PM by FrenchieCat
based on the fact that he called it for what it was, "DUMB", long, long ago. And that is what we will need on our side....one who doesn't have to "couch" parts of what is required to be said due to his/her participation in the initial start of this thing.

And yes, I do believe that the Dem's ability to effectively argue the whole Iraq Debacle against a Republican opponent sans restraint will be critical in making the Dems' voice heard clearly and loudly on ending this fiasco, and looking strong and right and leaderlike. No one who supported this thing at the beginning will be seen as a leader with sound judgment, IMO....and it is imperative that we are able to "frame" Iraq to the GOP's detriment how we choose. We will have to hit them hard and often with their Iraq dreams....over and over again.

Plus Obama's message is one of unity and fresh approaches. That's a message that will resonate during a general election, and get folks who have never voted out in mass.......and the General election is the big prize, cause as we know, everything else is bullshit!

Plus, I do believe that if the GOP attempts to attack Obama for his "Blackness"...even on the sly.....it will backfire, and show them out for what they truly are; sexist, racists, homophobic pigs.

So yes...please......Give me an intellectual Harvard poor guy makes good charismatic and level headed intensely articulate Black Candidate who reflects youth and hope any day......and see us kick some ass!

He is not the conventional run of a mill historical type of candidate that's easy to tear down ...which is why he can win!

21. Affleck is ok, the only thing he should be attacked for is
the movie "Pearl Harbor", which is one of the worst movies I've ever seen :puke:

Want to see a GOOD movie about Pearl Harbor, rent "Tora, Tora, Tora"...

The love story worked in Titanic, but failed miserably in Pearl Harbor....
