My pleasure to bring up bush's DISHONORABLE MILITARY SERVICE again
Actually its a story about dandy dan bartlett resigning, ya know, dan the guy who covered up bush's stellar service!

http://www.correntewire.com/republican_operative_who_orchestrated_successful_suppression_of_bush_awol_story_to_exit_west_wing

Conservatives are in incredible denial relative to Plame, WMD, libby's perjury, limbaugh's pimple, cheney's never ending lying and BUSH'S DISHONORABLE MILITARY SERVICE. Thought it was so nice of correntewire to give us another opportunity to dredge the whole sordid dishonorable mess up again. Very telling story by the way.

1. Check out his discharge paperwork...he had ZERO medals/ribbons.
I think that after almost 6 years (I say "almost" because he couldn't even complete his 6 year Guard commitment without fucking up), just about ANYBODY would have at least 5 or 6 ribbons. I got out after 8 years and had 11.

Also, have you EVER heard of a pilot who voluntarily gave up his pilot license while in their 20s? Something is fishy there...

3. barbara must be very proud of her son
who achieved the awesome rank of O-TWO!! Maybe he deserted and gave up his license because he was afraid to take a drug test. Imagine, a hero of the great unwashed, fucking up a military career with drugs?!? He wouldn't do that would he?

9. Yeah, fishy
My dad gave up his license in his fourties when he began to have heart problems. But he would still go up in his friend's cessna as co-pilot every few months. Pilots out there, would you ever give it all up? Georgie doen't appear to have kept any intrest in flight other than air force one and dressing up in codpiece-enhanced jumpsuits. The pilot thing is as much window dressing as anything else. Hell, wouldn't surprise me if planes rank right up there with horses for him. Well, probably a notch higher, horses are smart and independant, wonder how many threw him or kicked him for being an a-hole.

10. not just that -- he barely even talks about flying
Every pilot I've every known has talked about the experience at every opportunity -- whether it's gliders, 747s, helicopters, or CF-18s -- stories about cool things they've seen or done, or narrow shaves they've had. Bush barely says a word about it, in his (ghostwritten) book or on the stump, even though he clearly had to work to get his wings and one would think that he'd have been pleased to have at least made it onto the same field as "Poppy". I am starting to wonder if he either had a crash and was so traumatized that he's been scared to get back in the cockpit -- or whether someone is blackmailing him with something really nasty (maybe he destroyed a plane and/or got a person injured or killed) and will come out with it if he tries to fly solo again.

Supposedly he had a near-crash after making a foolish mistake. This might be one of the reasons why he made the witness a Cabinet member? I don't recall hearing much about him flying after that date.

2. Ole Georgie had less than 10 hrs solo in a single engine Jet
now ask yourself,, would you really want to fly his wing,,, for me it would be at the very least a mile seperation....

6. And as far as I know, this reward remains unclaimed.
The founder of the group Texans for Truth said Tuesday that he is offering $50,000 to anyone who can prove President Bush fulfilled his service requirements, including required duties and drills, in the Alabama Air National Guard in 1972.

7. Texans for Truth never found proof
that Bush ever showed up in Alabama.
Yep. May this fact go down in history forever: Bush was AWOL.

8. My line's a little more verbose
but it really pisses the lemmings off (truth always does):

- bush deserted his military unit to avoid a drug test.
