YAGT - If Gore enters in September, will you abandon your current candidate
and work for him?

Just wondering.

1. Yes
I'm supporting Edwards but I've told everyone that if Gore enters then I'm supporting him.

2. I would
However, I don't have a candidate at this point. I love Edwards, but I don't think he can win. I'm just waiting and hoping for Gore until I'm convinced I have to choose someone else.

3. No. We need radical change
In terms of economics. Not just talk. We need to rebuild our industries and provide fair and adequate employment for all. We need to change the education system pronto. No more of this in-with-the-banks-and-the-corporations nonsense.

Al Gore's good at talking and lecturing. I like how he draws attention to global warming; but when it comes to setting an overall agenda, we need to push a bit more to the left than this.

8. But, you will never get it
If Bush hadn't taken over the Presidency in 2000, there may have been a chance to go further to the left. But, at this moment, we are much more to the right than we were in 2000 and people will not go for that hard of a left turn. The nation needs to be scootched to the left a little at a time or you may have people voting repub again.

7. He would become my candidate. At this point, the only three I would
whole-heartedly support, Gore, Clark, and Elizabeth Edwards, are not running.

I will support whoever gets the nomination but I am holding out for a Gore run.

12. Not really...
Even though I'm not an Obama cheerleader, I still support him more than anyone else. I wouldn't be mad though if Gore got the nomination. He's the only other one I REALLY like.

And as long as all of you worship him like I do, nobody gets hurt.
