Whether you prefer Rush Limbaugh or Keith Olbermann has to do with your genes and your psychology, according to a new study.

People who are more conscientious and prefer order, structure and closure in their lives tend to be more conservative, whereas creative people who are open to new experiences tend to be more politically liberal, says John Jost, a psychologist at New York University who conducted an overview of previous studies involving a total of more than 22,000 participants from 12 countries.

3. I wish they'd say who paid for such rubbish...
You can generally tell what the deal is if you can find out who paid for the study... follow the money... works every time!

4. That's a very good point.
You can generally get what you pay for in psychological studies or opinions. Ask any prosecutor/defense attorney.

5. What the hell does personality type have to do with genetic code...
They have yet, outside of certain mental diseases, found genetic links that are directly link to behavior, rather than how you were raised. Someone raised on a more creative, open minded home, may be more likely to be liberal, but that doesn't mean its genetic.

6. That's ridiculous.
Studies like this give studies a bad reputation. Talk about junk science!
