Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid still control when the House and Senate recess for a vacation. They could have refused to do that and kept working on the funding bill rather than cave so they could all go home. Who gives a $hit what * wants. There is no excuse for what happened yesterday.

Wait till September and they'll be 'saving their strength' for December, unless this has been a wake-up call that they all might get voted out.

Because sadly at this point if I were the Democrats I would kiss Joe's ass if it meant keeping the majority because if he does switch over this you can kiss getting out of Iraq by 2008 goodbye completely because with the Repukes calling the shots in the Senate any type of withdrawal would be out of the question and it would be replaced by legislation that will outlaw gay marriage and flag burning not to mention bills that benefit credit card companies.

That's why it's vital to get out of Iraq and to weaken Holy Joe's sphere of influence on Senate Democrats it's VITAL to elect more Democrats in 2008. How I see it the Democrats will gain Colorado but lose Louisiana and at best we can gain three seats: Minnesota, New Hampshire and Oregon.

ever learn they need a forceful intelligent spokesman who can give as good as we get. 20% of the people support Bush and his war and we can't come up with a way to throw his words back at him.
