They have been pulling this crap for 6 years and getting away with it. Why shouldn't they think they can continue to do it? They believe themselves to be above the law. And so far they HAVE been.

bush and company think they can stonewall and stall the investigations by Dems in congress and last out the rest of his term. So far Dem "leadership" seems somewhat lacking (think Madam Speakers statements that impeachment is off the table)
