VOTER VETS aiming at JOHN MCCAIN during GOP Fox Debate
On Tuesday evening, following the debate on FOX News, we'll be airing our ad with General Batiste, targeting Senator John McCain.

Why Senator McCain? No one in the Senate has been as vociferous a defender of the President's failed strategy in Iraq as Senator McCain. For whatever the reason, the wheels seem to have come off the 'Straight-Talk Express.' From bizarrely maintaining that an American can stroll through Baghdad unprotected to dangerously advocating more of the same, this isn't the same Senator McCain that people so respected years ago.

We're trying to give him a dose of reality - those who were commanders on the ground are saying we need to change course, so we can maintain a strong military and defend America. By putting those voices in front of his face, and in front of an audience he cares about, maybe he'll finally begin to put America's security above politics. He has a chance to rise to the occasion and be a true leader, if he wants to. It's time for Senator McCain to take off the blinders, and pay heed to the words of those who were commanders on the ground in Iraq. Help us keep it up.

Even the Corporate media are calling these ads "devastating" to the Republicans.

Vote Vets also has plans to air a brand new commercial which is coming out next week featuring Gen. Wes Clark. Wonder if Wes will be mentioning the fact that Bush has just outsourced the Commander-Decider-War-Czar-in-Chief that was supposed to be the President's job?

Tweety wondered if they will be effective. Repub Susan Molinari complained this group had targeted Allen and Santorum. There's your answer.

3. Kicking since this cause helps us all........
By having those with the credibility to speak out against what is going on in Iraq to do so.....and to be targeting Republican candidates. Substansive actions bear recognition.
