Bush/Cheney and Republican Party Hypocrisy
I known I write a great deal about the hypicrisy of the Bush Administration and the Republican party, but the hypocrisy that comes from them never stops, so I keep writing. The most recent example is the case of the Iraqi Parlament wanting to take a two month vacation. The Iraqi Paraliment is planning on taking a two month vacation. The Republican Party and the Bush Administration are angry about this and have said that while American men and women are dying in Iraq the Paralement should not be going on vacation. I think this might be a Micheal Wilbon moment. On the show Pardon the Interruption, Michael Wilbon often says about an athlete that has made a certain statement that what the athlete said might be right, but that particular athletes had no right to say it. The situation is the same with the Bush Administration and the Republican Party criticizing the Iraqi Parliament for wanting to take a vacation.

This is the Bush Administration that goes on a month long vacation each year no matter what is happening in the country. On many occasions people have asked Bush to take a shorter vacation. Others have criticized him for taking such long vacations when most Americans only get a two week vacation. This is the same Bush Administration who may have taken two month long vacations in the same year. This is the same Bush Administration that went on a month long vacation and did not come back early from that vacation even when the CIA director told the President that a terrorist attack may be coming. This is the same President who has not yet given up one of his month long vacation during the time American soldiers have been fighting and dying in Iraq. This is the same President who went on vacation and did not cut his vacation short even thought a hurricane was heading to New Orleans, a major American city. Even after the hurricane hit New Orleans and the city flooded the President still stayed on vacation for an additional two days. In terms of the Republican Party in Congress this is the same party that refused to work more than three days a week while American soldiers died in Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition, this is the same Republican Party in Congress who said it was anti-family values to have a five day work-week. So I guess the Republican Party is now against family values or maybe they are just against family values for the Iraqi people. Finally, this is the Bush Administration and Republican Party that pushed to have troops sent to Iraq

The Bush/Cheney Administration and the Republican Party have no right to criticize the Iraqi Parliament for wanting a two month vacation. The way I see it the Iraqi Parliament wants to go on a two month vacation while soldiers from other people's countries are dying. On the other hand Bush/ Cheney and the Republican Party have been going on vacations for four or more years while American soldiers die. I think the Bush/cheney Administration and the Republican Party are much worse than the Iraqi Parliament.
