1. IIRC, in 2000 a reporter asked mccain
what he would say to his daughter if she got pregnant. His response was something like "I would try to talk her out of it, but ultimately, it's her decision". Pretty wishy washy for the anti choice group.

Why do you say rudy dudy is sinking? Is there a new poll that shows him down in the polls? I figured the more the repugs are exposed to him the less they would like him.

5. IMO both of them looked very
(I hate this word) un-presidential. McCain looked like a surly old man and Rudy looked aloof with the elbow on the podeum thing. It's still early but is that the best the GOP has to offer?!!

Jonathan Martin's story on Rudy Giuliani's past contributions to Planned Parenthood is a killer, but what fascinates me most about it is the timing.

Obviously, the rival campaign that leaked this dirt had it in the can and was waiting for the right time to unload it, but it seems really early in the race for Rudy's competitors to be using up such good ammo. So why do it now?

Three reasons: 1.) People, especially conservatives, are paying more attention to this stuff than most people -- including some of the MSM pundits -- think; 2.) the longer Rudy stays out in front the more dangerous he becomes, so it is imperative he be brought back to the pack as soon as possible; and 3.) Giuliani showed weakness on the issue of abortion in last week's debate and so the perfect opportunity presented itself to extend and expand conservative doubts about him on the issue by leaking the story now.

10. Could be that Rudy released it himself in as a prophylactic measure...
You know, stop the bad seed from finding fertile ground...
