A suggestion for the Democrats. Compromise with the base instead of with the Repos.

Here's my plan for Democrats.

1. Fast track HR333 (articles of impeachment agaist VP Cheney) and introduce articles of impeachment against bush, as well. 1st Cheney, then bush.

2. Pass a clean funding bill for the illegal occupation with enough funds for 3 months of operations.

Dems can then argue they are supporting the troops both passively and proactively. They can also argue that they are doing every thing they can to end the illegal occupation, now instead of cynically waiting and using the occupation as a means to electorial power in 08.

4. It's a compromise because the base would prefer

both impeachment and cutting off funds for the illegal occupation.

Speaker Pelosi's district voted for impeachment by 60% last Nov.
