Question about Kucinich and corporate donations...

I was telling someone that one of the (many) things I find most cool about Dennis is his refusual to take corporate money for his campaign.

To demonstrate this point I went to opensecrets.org and found this:

Borders & Borders
$6,000

United Steelworkers of America
$6,000

University of Illinois
$5,238

Sheet Metal Workers Union
$5,000

Progressive Choices PAC
$5,000

University of California
$4,800

State of California
$4,550

Schulman Schulman
$4,000

Kayline Enterprises
$4,000

Rivier College
$4,000

The Wooden Horse
$3,900

Global Relationship Centers
$3,079

Guana Island Hotel Corp
$3,000

Kucinich for President
$2,600

People Centered Development Forum
$2,500

Broadcom Corp
$2,500

Walter N Marks Inc
$2,500

Camelot
$2,500

Intel Corp
$2,400

BC Tech
$2,385

Obviously, there are some corporations in this list of top donors. Did I get my information wrong, or did I convey it wrong? It's not THAT big of a deal, other than I looked kind of stupid when I pulled this up and would like to clarify the issue.

Thanks!

2. Guess what? Kucinich gets most of his money from lawyers.
I heard this on Democracy Now.

5. Kucinich takes donations from
employees of corporations (the same way Dean did with one of the media corporations before he ditched public financing), but usually he makes sure the corporations tend to perform services that follow his platform issues. For instance, he'd take a collected donation from a corporation which employed Union workers, lawyers who specialize in protecting the little guy from being over-run by corporations (one of the things I suspect he likes Edwards for), book publishers because education is a major issue for him and he believes reading is one of the best ways to self-educate.

They don't buy him, he vets them to make sure they embody what he stands for before he accepts their money.

7. But-but-but... Intel is evil! :)

Thank you soooo much! That makes a lot of sense - and now I can go back to representin' for Dennis! I just want to be as ACCURATE as possible, and not misrepresent anything. Just like Dennis would want me to!

9. $2,300 - $6,000 is his “top” donor range?
Compared to the rest of the candidates that is truly amazing (and a bit depressing.).
