Bush admits defeat
Edited on Fri Apr-27-07 04:33 PM by NYCALIZ
he knows that his administration cannot win Iraq within the next year.

If he thought he was competent of winning Iraq at all, he'd be negotiating a different deadline.
But he knows its a non-win situation, so changing the deadline is moot. No matter what the deadline, he cannot succeed.

1. Bush has already made it perfectly clear that the mess he made in Iraq, if he has his way,
will be ended and cleaned up by the NEXT President.

He doesn't want to mess with it. As his term in office comes to a close, he just wants to wait out the days until he can leave and move to his new home in Paraguay, safely tucked away from extradition by the United States for the crimes the Dem President following him into office will surely find.

The man is a coward. He went AWOL to avoid serving his country during the Vietnam era, and nothing has changed today. He's still an arrogant, little man on the outside, and a coward inside down to the bone. He's a disgrace to America.

2. I wish that i could agree with you. He *should* realize he's a coward
But I don't think that that is what goes on inside his brian.

He is an idealist.

He is a simpleton.

Put those two elements together and you have this very dangerous package - an idealistic simpleton.

4. I don't know what you're disagreeing to.
I don't see where I ever said Bush thought of himself as a coward. To the contrary, he thinks he's a f*ckin' hero. Man of the year. A brilliant leader.

And you are so right: he is one VERY DANGEROUS package. And for that reason alone, Congress MUST REMOVE him from office ASAP, before he does anything else to put us in more danger.

3. I know, but I want to change his 'surrender date' dialogue
by translating his actions to show that he's already admitted defeat.
