Democrats take shots at Bush, not each other
By Klaus Marre
April 27, 2007
........
Only underdog candidates Rep. Dennis Kucinich (Ohio) and former Sen. Mike Gravel (Alaska) took swipes at the more visible contenders.

The answer to the final question of the evening, directed at Sen. Joseph Biden (Del.), was symptomatic of the tone of the debate. Biden was asked if there was a winner on the stage.

“Absolutely, yes, there’s a winner,” Biden said. “Taking myself out, I’m looking at a bunch of winners right here, number one. And whoever wishes for Hillary is making a big mistake on the Republican side.”

3. Why would Senator Biden wish to be in a cabinet?
That would be a step down wouldn't it? He's not in any danger of losing his seat.

A Senator has much more power as a Senator than as a cabinet member.

5. Collectively Senators do..
But anyone in line for a cabinet position is in control of a major arm of the government.
With a huge staff doing the work for them. It's a plum position for anyone.

9. Do you know how stupid this assertion is ???
Yeah - we are looking at the 18th family generation of Clintons trying for the WH... Geez. Bill and Hillary had 100 Yale legacies between them - at least 100, maybe 200.

8. heh, I'm sure he'd be tickled pink hearing that invitation
hoping Obama doesn't regret saying, he wouldn't accept 2nd position from Hillary, as he said on Letterman.

2nd position, may be looking mighty good to him right now.
