WTF? Is California chopped liver? Why do I have to miss the debate?
California is the most populous state of the United States. So, I have to work until 4:30 pm, take the train at 5:00 pm, and get home at around 6 pm. I turn on the f*cking TV (MSNBC) and the only thing I see is some clowns (besides Olberman, of course) discussing the debate.

So, for about an hour know, I have to watch Tucker, Tweety, Scarborough, and some stupid talking heads discussing who was winning the debate.

Again, WTF. Is there any where I can watch the whole debate to catch up without having some stupid idiots analyze it before I see it?

Are there any West-Coasters who feel the same way???

1. wouldn't have made any difference to me since I'd rather open a vein...
...than watch TV. No TV in my house. I'll catch it on the internets.

10. I have yet to shed my TV addiction.
Last June we spend a week on a ranch in the Trinity Alps in CA having no TV, no radio, no Internet, no newspaper, no cell phone connection. I was essentially freaking out.

4. I can't get MSNBC live stream on the train
I missed it completely. I guess it is early in the season and there are more debates to follow. I just feel that all the programs are always geared toward Eastern time zone viewers and the West coast is just screwed.

3. No, But I'm An East Coaster
tired of staying up past midnight on a work night to catch championship sporting events.

And sometimes, they do run the debates late on a work night.

I don't see why they can't either have them on a Sunday evening. Fewer people work, they could have it early enough that east coast people aren't up late.

But, my husband and I don't think they really wanted people to see it. Our TiVo had it titled "South Carolina University Debate" nothing with Democrats or President in the title to make it easy to search. Good thing he listens to Air America, or we'd have never known when it was.

5. Saturday night for debates would work for me.
But, I agree with you: For football season, we are in the perfect time zone. I didn't think about that. Sorry, East Coasters

15. I understand totally: And if we had a free press, instead of a propaganda machine,
you would have been able to see each of the candidates on news shows for the past few months, talking about their positions, their history, their votes, and really getting a TRUE education about who you're about to vote for, without having to "vet it" through the talking heads who are paid with republican dollars.

But since WE DON'T HAVE FREEDOM OF THE PRESS in this country, and since they don't really want people to watch anyone saying anything that might make sense, those of you in California who actually want to see something of substance are going to be kept in the dark, or you're going to have to miss work.

THE WHOLE FUCKING PICTURE SUCKS AND IT'S WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!

:grouphug: Sending hugs to you in California. I'm really sorry the repukes have done this to you guys yet again!

Have I mentioned I hate the fucking bastards??

8. Thanks, K8conant.
I'll try to watch it right after the repeat of last night's The Daily Show. We always have to catch TDS the next day, since it is on here at 11:00 pm and I am in bed latest at 10:30 pm. I have to get up at 5:30 am every morning and just can't stay up that long.

liberals here. These idiots here voted for slimy and corrupt Doolittle :puke:

I am glad that they moved the primary up. :hi:

14. So, we are Sushi?
San Francisco is 1 1/2 hours away from us. Love it. Compared to Lawton, OK, this is a whole 'nother world :)
