Obama's favorability ratings highest of any 2008 candidate.

I think that simple face explains alot of the MOMENTUM we are seeing, as Obama continues to gain on Senator Clinton and will likely, if nothing happens to interrupt the current trend, overtake her as the Democratic frontrunner by this Summer. Obama holding the edge in favorability ratings (good for the primary, but especially important in the general election) is not new news, but here's some interteresting data is anyone missed it:

"Thirty-three percent (33%) of Likely Voters say they’d definitely vote for Illinois Senator Barack Obama (D). That’s the highest total received by any of ten leading Presidential hopefuls included in the poll. Thirty-three percent (33%) also say they’d definitely vote against Obama giving him a net differential of zero (33% definitely for minus 33% definitely against equals net differential of 0). All other candidates have a net differential in negative territory meaning more people are set to definitely vote against them rather than for them. Other polling during the past month found Obama’s favorability ratings have increased to the highest level of any 2008 candidate (see summary of all Democratic and Republican candidates)"

I have my own opinion of the reasons why Obama's favorability rating is so high...and I believe will go even higher as more Americans get to know him and hear him speak. I'll save that for another post.

3. Seriously? Sweet Bearded Jesus, what the fuck is wrong with people?
If you don't like Edwards, you must hate good looking intelligent people.
If you don't like Hillary, you must hate powerful women.
If you don't like Obama, you must hate black people, you racist bastard!
If you don't like Kucinich, you must hate liberals
If you don't like Richardson, you must want a border fence because you hate Hispanics.

People need to get over themselves. I got news for everyone, I have a soft spot for them all. Every last one of them. However, I find myself at odds with Hillary as a person and as a candidate more than any of them. But, before you brand me a hater of powerful women, I absolutely LOVE Carol Mosley Braun, so now what?

Ok, rant over. ;)

4. I agree with you Catch22dem. Especially the you hate powerful women thing
When so many support Pelosi it makes no sense. She is the most powerful woman and yet her support is overwhelming. The lack of support for Hillary has nothing to do with her gender.
And people do need to get over themselves and not be so sensitive.
I don't support Hillary or Edwards not due to anything but, they fail to appeal to me as candidates.
