Learning to fight the GOP while fighting each other.

We all know that the primary season is a heated one on DU. Much of the time we excuse the venom as necessary "training" for the coming general election. Well its time we started doing that training.

Today I was responding to an argument when it occurred to me that I was winning(at least in my own mind) based on my ability to argue rather than evidence to support my actual argument. I realized my particular argument in that case could be defeated with just the proper research. So I went ahead, did that research and posted it under my counter argument. That way next time that poster encounters that argument, they will have a quick retort. Now granted I wouldn't have been so inclinded to assist someone I perceived as a troll but being a regular in GD-P gives you a sense of who supports who.

Now this is hardly a call to put away the knives or anything like that.

No, what I propose instead on that some of us make a conscience effort to provide counter arguments even when its not for our candidate.

Come the general election we need to be able to squash GOP BS immediately.

So I propose we start practicing the squashing in addition to the BSing!
