Feingold statement today on Bush Impeding Congress's Efforts to Fund the Troops
Statement of U.S. Senator Russ Feingold
On the President Impeding Congress’s Efforts to Fund the Troops

April 16, 2007

“The Senate has passed a troop funding bill that gives the troops the equipment they need and gives the American people what they are demanding – an end to the President’s misguided, open-ended military strategy. If the President vetoes the supplemental that will soon be on his desk, he will be delaying this funding from getting to the troops and defying the will of the American people.”

2. Bravo!
Feingold et al. need to keep the heat on, and present this truthful view of what is really happening.

3. Out. NOW.
I know we can't literally leave tomorrow, but we can sure leave before this year is out and sooner if we try. I'm beginning to detect a willingness by Reid and Feingold to stand firm in the Senate. They have the fed-up American people supporting them.

6. Bravo.
Dems are in a position to play the talking point game better than the neo-con fascists ever could. Because this time the points are razor-sharp and dead fucking serious.

7. Why would winning in Iraq eliminate "them" from still following the troops back to the US.??
and continue attempting to bring the war back to the US. There's no logic to Bush's statement, about beating them there so we don't fight them here. how fucking lame!!
