I wonder how Perino feels about having to lie for the criminal in chief?
http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/013660.php

Perino from this morning's gaggle ...

Reporter: Dana, the Albuquerque Journal reported that Senator Domenici made a personal deal with the White House. Does the president recall talking about Iglesias, does the president recall specifically talking to Domenici, does...

Dana Perino: I'd refer you to what the president said in Mexico when he was asked this specific question, and he said that he had, that it was something, I don't have his exact words, but he said something along the lines of that he had been hearing complaints, and we've told you the general different areas, around the country, and that he remembers the issue of voter fraud being brought up at a meeting with senators. But we have never said --

Reporter: He doesn't remember specifically Domenici?

Dana Perino: Not that I -- I don't believe so.

1. She probably considers it an honor and her patriotic duty.
Next?

2. In her case
I would feel fine in saying she's a Bush ho.

3. Except "made a personal deal with the White House"
isn't the same thing as 'made a personal deal with Bush'. What the reporters should have been asking is WHO in the WH did he make a deal with.

4. If you look in her eyes when she speaks
you can see the glazing effect of having consumed too much Bush Brand Kool Aid. I doubt she has any conscience left and probably doesn't believe she's lying. "If the Great Leader says it, it must be so." Or something like that.

6. Well, let's look at her predecessors:
1. Ari "The Truth Fairy" Fleischer. He enjoyed lying. He couldn't get enough.
2. Scott "Mousy" McClellan. He liked bullshitting, but he hated lying. He quit over the Plame lies.
3. Tony "Snowjob" Snow. That job fit him like a glove. He passed along lies, he created his own, he told stories, he bullshitted. The truth? Just a minor inconvenience.

No doubt, Perino will fall somewhere on this spectrum.

7. "I'd refer you to what the president said"
Oh boy, really?

"When he was asked this specific question." Yeah, Dana? Tell us, tell us!

"He said that he had, that it was something . . ." Uh oh, the train's about to jump the tracks.

"I don't have his exact words." We're airborne.

"But he said something along the lines of . . ." Oh dear, and we're just crossing a canyon. This will not end well.

And sure enough, it doesn't. What a fumble-mouthed crap answer. If my 5-year-old grandson lied this bad, I'd be disappointed in him. Not for the lying (which is bad enough), but for the poor quality of the lying.

9. Brought to you by the same fascists who brought in
armed and armored mercenaries to kill the people of New Orleans, instead of helping them.
