2. Good, he could use the publicity.
Deadeye Dick on Face the Nation, 'nuff said.

Richard Perle on again--how often do you have to be totally wrong to be discredited on these DC talk shows?

Wow Walter Mondale and Rich Little are still alive!

4. No way will I watch CNN's Late Edition
Kyl is my senator and he makes me sick...along with him is Frist and Perle. Not my idea of a nice Sunday morning.

But I will definitely watch Richardson

5. He was also on CNN's "This Week at War" Nice interview on North Korea.
The generally diplomatic Governor Richardson dropped all nuance when asked about John Bolton--essentially said that Bolton is living in a world all his own.

Catch the rerun.

7. I just saw him on This Week. I wasn't impressed.
I liked what he said about the North Korea deal. After that, I didn't like his answers on anything else, especially about health care, AG Gonzales and that other man whose name shall not be mentioned by me.

8. He is the candidate that I am most impressed with
I really likes what he says - I like his experience - I like his even-headedness.

9. I caught him on "This Week" here's a quick synopsis.
Very strong on North Korea--they're hard to negotiate with--you have to keep trying and realize that they are going to try and cheat.

I thought he was also very knowledgeable on Iraq. His plan is to pull out all U.S. troops except for embassy guards following a diplomatic agreement which would bring in neighboring countries to keep the peaceand provide a resource sharing among Shiites, Sunis and Kurds. US troops in Iraq are a target and a cause of violence. The promise of withdrawal of U.S. troops would be a carrot to get others to agree to the proposal.

His health care proposals sounded reasonable--believes you can fix inefficiencies in the existing system and extend benefits without raising taxes.

Gonzo. The only way he should stay is if he makes clear that these people were fired for purely political reasons and pledges to resist political influence from the White House.

Imus: What he said was inexcusable. Said that he believed from his own experience that Imus was deep down a decent person who cared about kids. If he goes back on the air he must more careful.
